That was 'just' a RFC patch, but in http://git.linux-nfs.org/?p=steved/nfs-utils.git;a=commit;h=2c2c36c59fa1de2ff7fd28917e54700ecb39b730 it is actually removed and that commit is part of the 2.6.1 release ... so I would've expected that "# vers2=n" was not present in Debian's 2.6.1-1 release. Even more given the commit is present in the salsa's repo: https://salsa.debian.org/kernel-team/nfs-utils/-/commit/2c2c36c59fa1de2ff7fd28917e54700ecb39b730 So yeah, you are right. But I do see the "# vers2=n" part on an arm64 device and also on the amd64 machine I'm typing this on.
