document, we can find a nest like:

1. Install the following pieces of software:
  * A C++ compiler...
  * The development files for apt...
  * The libsigc++-2.0 library...
  * Last but not least, download the most recent aptitude source code...

....but which should be:

1. Install the following pieces of software:
  * A C++ compiler...
  * The development files for apt...
  * The libsigc++-2.0 library...
2. Last but not least, download the most recent aptitude source code...
