Hi, Just as I wanted to use dfu-util, I realized this package hasn't been getting enough love.
Thanks for Tormod to fix this situation. Your patch applied version compiled nicely here. As I see the current situation, Tormod Volden being upstream and active while the current maintainer didn't have time for this for almost 6 years, it would be nice Tormod to take over this package. If no complain from Uwe on Tormod's current delayed package, next upload should list you as the maintainer. Salvage is for 6 month. Missing consecutive 2 release is too much. I found you are using salsa now and adding a bit more modernization. I think it will be nice if there are some more points to be improved. * Use new compat level specification method and bump to 13. `Build-Depends: debhelper-compat (= 13)`. * Update upstream to make it include www/ into generated tarball by autotools. If not, copy at least dfuse.html to debian/ and put it in the binary package. This was very helpful info for me. It may be easier to maintain if you use dgit-maint-merge(7) work flow. You can cherry pick patches between debian packaging and upstream using gitk. Osamu
