Package: bugs.debian.org
Severity: wishlist

Hello Debian BTS People,

https://bugs.debian.org/foo gets redirected
to https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=foo;dist=unstable
and then gets
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=foo;dist=unstable
build.

In case package "foo" has many bugs is the response time very long.

The idea c.q. wish is to prebuild and/or cache pages
for packages like "linux" and "wnpp".

Not hindered by implementation knowledge, I would make cronjob that
captures the output of
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=wnpp;dist=unstable
and store it at https://bugs.debian.org/wnpp and tell the webserver
to NOT redirect to the cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi for package wnpp
