I guess it will providing them only for amd64, as the toolchain on ia64 is not (yet) multilib ready? Can you please add Conflicts: ia32-libs (<< 1.10) Replaces: ia32-libs (<< 1.10) to lib32ncurses5, if you haven't already done so? ia32-libs 1.10 will be the (next) version depending on lib32ncurses5 in turn.
