Package: libapt-pkg-perl Version: 0.1.19 Severity: serious The libapt-pkg-perl package is failing to build on all architectures that use sudo for building, because it depends on the presence of the PWD environment variable which is no longer preserved by default by sudo:
[...] /usr/bin/make install PREFIX=/debian/tmp/usr [...] Installing /debian/tmp/usr/share/man/man3/AptPkg::Cache.3pm make[1]: Leaving directory `/build/buildd/libapt-pkg-perl-0.1.19' dh_movefiles /usr dh_movefiles: debian/tmp does not exist. make: *** [install] Error 1 [...] A full build log can be found at http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=libapt-pkg-perl&ver=0.1.19&arch=alpha&stamp=1146353438&file=log&as=raw Please update libapt-pkg-perl to use the make built-in variable $(CURDIR) instead of depending on the presence of $(PWD). (This was shamelessly copied from similar bug reports, #362705 and #362706, by Steve Langasek :) Cheers, -- Niko Tyni [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
