Package: gstreamer0.10-pitfdll Version: 0.9.1.1+cvs20060312-1 Severity: normal
I've attempted to play a short video clip using Totem after installing gstreamer0.10-pitfdll. The sound plays fine, but I get no video. Playing the same clip using MPlayer works fine. The clip is a very uninteresting 5Mb home video of me skiing. I can attach it to the bug report if you want, ask for it in that case. Here's what Totem says, what MPlayer says and what "file" says about the clip: " [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/share/gfx/06 03 - Stötensemester$ totem Stötensemester002.MPG ** Message: don't know how to handle video/mpeg, mpegversion=(int)1, systemstream=(boolean)false ** Message: Couldn't initialize lirc. ** Message: don't know how to handle video/mpeg, mpegversion=(int)1, systemstream=(boolean)false [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/share/gfx/06 03 - Stötensemester$ mplayer Stötensemester002.MPG MPlayer dev-CVS--4.0.3 (C) 2000-2005 MPlayer Team CPU: Intel Pentium 4/Celeron D Prescott; Pentium D/XE Smithfield; Xeon Nocona,Irwindale (Family: 15, Stepping: 4) MMX2 supported but disabled SSE2 supported but disabled CPUflags: MMX: 1 MMX2: 0 3DNow: 0 3DNow2: 0 SSE: 1 SSE2: 0 Compiled for x86 CPU with extensions: MMX SSE Playing Stötensemester002.MPG.
