Package: gphoto2 Version: 2.1.5-1 Severity: wishlist I notice that when at the console sucking photos out of my camera only uses 15% CPU, but when I do it inside an xterm (well, konsole) CPU usage is 100%. I attribute this to an excessively noisy progress bar.
Would it be possible to have the progress bar/spinner updated less frequently? An option to turn the progress bar/spinner off is also acceptable. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (98, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i586) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-rc3 Locale: LANG=en_AU, LC_CTYPE=en_AU (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages gphoto2 depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libcdk4 4.9.9-4 C-based curses widget library ii libexif10 0.6.9-4 The EXIF library allows you to par ii libgphoto2-2 2.1.5-3 gphoto2 digital camera library ii libgphoto2-port0 2.1.5-3 gphoto2 digital camera port librar ii libjpeg62 6b-9 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libncurses5 5.4-4 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libpopt0 1.7-5 lib for parsing cmdline parameters ii libreadline4 4.3-11 GNU readline and history libraries -- no debconf information -MD -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael Deegan Hugaholic http://michael.ucc.asn.au/ Vs lbh pna ernq guvf, lbh'er ivbyngvat gur QZPN -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
