Sorry, but I use (now deprecated) method with /etc/network/interfaces I added -dddddddddd to wpa supplicant and extracted wpa_supllicant log from syslog grep 36696 /var/log/syslog|gzip -9v - > /tmp/wpa.wlan0.gz result are in attachment. Hope this is enough. Another thing I forgot to mention. When I use usb card based on "Qualcomm Atheros Communications AR9271 802.11n" this work flawelessly regardless of wpa_supplicant version.
