Hi David,
A while ago you've reported bug 313178 against kernel (oopses while using
hotplug). Judging by the URL you supplied in it, the problem has been
fixed in kernels, newer than 2.6.9. Please let us know whether you're
still experience these problems with any recent kernels. If you do, please
provide the version if the kernel image you're using and further details.
Otherwise I'll assume that bug is no longer relevant, and close it in two
weeks from now.
