I suggest a command line option to specify temperature units. For example: -u or --units HDD reports temperature in Celsius and it should be displayed in Celsius: hddtemp -u CC /dev/hda HDD reports temperature in Celsius and it should be displayed in Fahrenheit: hddtemp -u CF /dev/hda HDD reports temperature in Fahrenheit and it should be displayed in Celsius: hddtemp -u FC /dev/hda HDD reports temperature in Fahrenheit and it should be displayed in Fahrenheit: hddtemp -u FF /dev/hda This could be simpler to use in real world situations than building a drive database and helps to figure out the correct unit. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-686-smp Locale: LANG=hu_HU, LC_CTYPE=hu_HU (charmap=ISO-8859-2) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
