Hi Daniel,

Thanks for sharing your insight into libjs-modernizr.

You said you were interested in updating libjs-modernizr. I need
libjs-modernizr >= 3.5.0 to package node-puppeteer. Could you prepare an
update on a fork/branch in salsa?

I took a look at the changes and it appears that Modernizr upstream has switched to a new build system, so updating the Debian package will take a non-trivial amount of work. The most significant dependencies appear to already be present in Debian, but the new build script still needs to be patched.

Are you talking about gulp? I have almost no experience with it, but I saw some packages in Debian using it, I might give a shot hacking with it.

Unfortunately, now that the holidays have ended I no longer have sufficient spare time to work on this. I'll keep it on my backlog to revisit the next time I update the Rainloop package, but it may be a while.

Sure. Would you mind if I import new upstream release to, say, 'experimental' branch on salsa to try packaging it? Should you have anything to contribute, you would be welcome, but I surely get that you may not have sufficient time for it.

Best,
Andrius
