systemd includes an extensive override mechanism so this should not be needed and I think this bug can be closed. You can start it like this: systemctl edit thermald.service Then remove all the lines that you don't want to override, but keep the section headers intact. -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
