The latest version is the most recent commit on the 'master' branch in
our public repository. [1] We found it is the fastest way to bring bug
fixes to the community.

Bug fixes can often be verified on our website within days. [2] Our
use of the SemVer patch digit [3] is explained on each tag page. [4]
You can also have a look at this message. [5]

The name of the 'master' branch is subject to change. We already use
the more neutral 'history' in most of our other repos. [6][7][8]
