Package: mount Version: 2.33.1-0.1 Severity: minor Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer,
I was reading man page for "mount". I spotted a typo. Section "The files /etc/fstab, /etc/mtab and /proc/mounts" Sentence: "If the regular mtab support is enabled than it's possible to use the file as well as the symlink." I believe the correct one should be (note adding a comma and substituting "than" with "then". "If the regular mtab support is enabled, then it's possible to use the file as well as the symlink." I see that this typo is also present in Debian documentation. I selected tag "upstream" because, if I understand well, the typo is derived from the Debian source used for Raspberry Pi OS. -- System Information: Distributor ID: Raspbian Description: Raspbian GNU/Linux 10 (buster) Release: 10 Codename: buster Architecture: armv7l Kernel: Linux 5.10.63-v7l+ (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_CRAP Locale: LANG=it_IT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=it_IT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages mount depends on: ii libblkid1 2.33.1-0.1 ii libc6 2.28-10+rpt2+rpi1 ii libmount1 2.33.1-0.1 ii libselinux1 2.8-1+b1 ii libsmartcols1 2.33.1-0.1 ii util-linux 2.33.1-0.1 mount recommends no packages.
