Bug#364944: error with applet

I had the keyboard applet and the same error appeared to me. I couldn't even log into gnome. I had to kill the X server process from another host in the several trials. One day without working. :-(

System: debian testing/unstable

I removed all the gnome config files, purged and reinstalled my gnome, and when i tried to modify the keyboard config again hang up. First icons didn't disappeared. Then, memory corruption...
