fortunes-fr is a package I used to maintain many years ago, both upstream and in Debian. I haven't touched it for years. It is offensive, unmaintained, RC buggy and used by very few people. For that reason, it is better to just remove it from the archive instead of finding a new maintainer. Regards, Aurelien
