Lintian provides references to the Vim packaging in tag descriptions. [1] We determine the appropriate sections by scanning your HTML index file. [2] Vim is somewhat special because your policy is not published. (Doc-base isn't either.) All we can do, therefore, is provide URI into a user's file system. Unfortunately, your URL structure is significantly different between the versions in stable and unstable. (For example, x73.html vs x65.html; please see below for details.) The Lintian maintainers are therefore uncertain which version to provide. The easiest way would be for you to publish your packaging policy on the Web. Several other teams do so. [3] You may be eligible for the same assistance that we were offered from the official New Maintainer's guide. [4][5] For Lintian, we ended up publishing the manual ourselves, but we have a website. [6] Alternatively, I could replace the Vim policy reference in the tag shown above [1] with a more permanent link. I believe that no other tags refer to your policy. Thank you!
