There's pugs, which embeds parrot using libparrot. Unfortunately that
embedding is currently broken because of some parrot weirdness, but
still. A fix is already being worked on.

As I said, I did consider it, but I'd really like to have an embedded
parrot in pugs as soon as the issues with parrot are worked around.
