mh_make produces debian/rules files without newline at end, resulting in lintian tag 'no-newline-at-end' being issued for them. I believe the issue may be fixed by adjusting the mh_make template for debian/rules [1]. However, as I am not familiar with the template engine used, I cannot propose a patch.
