On the contrary, the port number is configurable. An example host in
munin.conf:
[foo.heimen.no]
address 127.0.0.1
port 5000
You can also set it at top-level (it will then count for all hosts).

Your patch just makes the default port (which is the one used if you don't
define one in munin.conf).
