This is the clue in the bug data you sent to the report: Options for saved report "Printable Invoice", based on template "Printable Invoice"
Saved reports in gnucash must have a different name to the original template - gnucash is known to crash on startup when this happens, in your case I believe it is likely to be the same problem that shows up when trying to print.
