Package: brltty-x11 Version: 6.4-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? Upgraded to 6.4 from sid * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? The brltty packages upgraded and restarted * What was the outcome of this action? The screen under X is no longer displayed * What outcome did you expect instead? After investigating, it seems the /etc/brlapi.key has no longer read permission for group and others, which have no permission at all. ONly root has all perm. As a consequence, of course, the user has no braille under X. *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** Regards -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'buildd-experimental'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.14.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages brltty-x11 depends on: ii brltty 6.4-1 ii libatspi2.0-0 2.42.0-1 ii libc6 2.32-4 ii libdbus-1-3 1.12.20-2 ii libx11-6 2:1.7.2-2+b1 ii libxaw7 2:1.0.13-1.1 ii libxfixes3 1:5.0.3-2 ii libxt6 1:1.2.0-1 Versions of packages brltty-x11 recommends: ii xbrlapi 6.4-1 brltty-x11 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
