Hi Niels,

Wow.  Ugh.  Thanks for your elaborate answer.  Don't worry, I can
certainly live without this feature, and I'm perfectly fine with this
aspect being handled as a minor bullet point in the eventual /usr-merge
transition plan.  The main point of my report was to avoid losing sight
of the issue.  And you've already ensured that. :)
