I intend to salvage [0] the mlton package. It has been uninstallable for years now [1], and has had other RC bugs since 2018 [2, 3]. I attempted to contact the current maintainer a month ago (with MIA CC'd) to determine if they were still interested in maintaining the package, but I have received no response.
