/sbin/update-modules package diverts others to: /sbin/update-modules.modutils /usr/share/man/man8/update-modules.8.gz package diverts others to: /usr/share/man/man8/update-modules.modutils.8.gz hrm.. looks like a hosed diversion. I'm betting this was caused by the recent modutils/manpages-dev conflict. I purged module-init-tools and re-installed it - that fixed it.
