Thank you for reporting a bug and sorry for only seeing it now. You mentioned: "From time to time, it hangs on startup so, if you are a normal user, it is no easy to find the problem." What is hanging on startup, the ufw oneshot service? This should not be happening. Can you provide more info on the problem? I want to understand that before setting a timeout for the service.
