Package: alsa-utils Version: 1.0.11-1 Severity: normal Hi,
after upgrading to the latest alsa-utils this morning my it won't restore the saved settings from /var/lib/alsa/asound.state. I think the problem is this line from /etc/init.d/alsa-utils: # Exit silently if package is no longer installed [ -d /lib/alsa-utils ] || exit 0 It seems that there is no /lib/alsa-utils anymore and thus the initscript fails upon start.
