Can anybody reproduce this on an up to date unstable? Or even on a SciTE in Bullseye (Debian 11)? I haven't seen this for some time (I _think_ lastly on Jessie, maaaybe on Stretch). I think has solved itself, by changes in either GTK or SciTE, but I haven't seen it in a long time. Please report back, in both cases, either if you still see the problem, or if you can report that you haven't seen it in some time.
