There is nothing pending on my side and if you want to adopt rt-tests that is fine for me. ISTR that Anders Roxell showed some interest in maintaining rt-tests, too, in the past, but I cannot find the corresponding conversation.
Upstream used to be quite responsive to patches and I don't assume this has changed. Being in the #linux-rt irc channel (on OFTC) might be beneficial to contact them.
