This is the security-tracker specific part of the more general https://salsa.debian.org/security-team/security.debian.org/-/issues/6 . Starting end of september, and lasting approximately one year, services from cve.mitre.org will transition to cve.org (including as well new possiblities for fetching data). The security-tracker will need changes as soon the details (not yet at time of writing) are outlined.
