Package: evolution Version: 3.38.3-1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: duhai...@foxmail.com
Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? When I update debian from buster to bullseye yesterday, evolution cannot show mails correctly now. All Chinese characters of mail body are not show or shown in boxes. I try to change the character encoding, but it doesn't work. I deleted all files in ~/.config/evolution, ~/.local/share/evolution, and ~/.cache/evolution, and reinstalled the evolution package, there's no use. Now, I can't read the mail, only the subject list is correct, chinese characters are all missing or shown as a box. But tasks, calendars, and memos are all shown correct. -- System Information: Debian Release: 11.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-8-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=zh_CN.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=zh_CN.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages evolution depends on: ii dbus 1.12.20-2 ii evolution-common 3.38.3-1 ii evolution-data-server 3.38.3-1 ii libc6 2.31-13 ii libcamel-1.2-62 3.38.3-1 ii libclutter-gtk-1.0-0 1.8.4-4+b1 ii libecal-2.0-1 3.38.3-1 ii libedataserver-1.2-25 3.38.3-1 ii libevolution 3.38.3-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.66.8-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.24.24-4 ii libical3 3.0.9-2 ii libnotify4 0.7.9-3 ii libsoup2.4-1 2.72.0-4 ii libwebkit2gtk-4.0-37 2.32.3-1 ii libxml2 2.9.10+dfsg-6.7 ii psmisc 23.4-2 Versions of packages evolution recommends: ii evolution-plugin-bogofilter 3.38.3-1 ii evolution-plugin-pstimport 3.38.3-1 ii evolution-plugins 3.38.3-1 ii yelp 3.38.3-1 Versions of packages evolution suggests: ii evolution-ews 3.38.3-1 pn evolution-plugins-experimental <none> ii gnupg 2.2.27-2 ii network-manager 1.30.0-2 -- no debconf information
