Package: miniupnpd
Version: 2.2.1-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
Installed miniupnpd and attempted to start the service using systemctl.

   * What was the outcome of this action?
Miniupnpd failed to start stating that "Your miniupnpd binary seems to mismatch
your *tables backend; refused to start!".

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
Miniupnpd starting successfully.

   * Supplimental info
It appears that line 10 in miniupnpd-startstop-helper.sh is executing the
'update-alternatives' command, looking for iptables. Since iptables is not
present on my system, this query returns a blank value and the script fails. It
would seems that this script needs to be updated to accomodate systems that are
nftables only.

Thank you kindly.
