I'm filing this bug as a conversation starter. It appears you have submitted hardlink to util-linux upstream. That made me wonder if util-linux in Debian should start building and installing the hardlink program, effectively taking it over from the hardlink package? I have not checked if there are differences between the util-linux version and the current version in hardlink. What were/are your intentions/thoughts on this? Best, Chris
