Dear Maintainer,
I run a system with the default locale set to LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8.
Because of this, prometheus-node-exporter-smartmon.service generates a
metrics textfile (/var/lib/prometheus/node-exporter/smartmon.prom) that
has numbers formatted in a way that prometheus-node-exporter is unable to
parse, such as:
smartmon_airflow_temperature_cel_raw_value{disk="/dev/sda",type="sat",smart_id="190"}
2,800000e+01
To fix this temporarily, I edited the service file (systemctl edit
--full prometheus-node-exporter-smartmon.service) and added the
following line to the [Service] section:
Environment=LANG=C.UTF-8
After that, generated smartmon.prom files have numbers formatted with a
'.' as decimal separator, and prometheus-node-exporter parses them
properly.
