Package: tmux Version: 3.1c-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I just upgraded to bullseye and on subsequent login tmux doesn't appear to read tmux.conf. This worked fine in buster. I start 3 instances via i3: exec i3-msg "workspace 1; exec x-www-browser; exec x-terminal-emulator -e tmux" exec i3-msg "workspace 2; exec x-terminal-emulator -e tmux; exec pidgin" exec i3-msg "workspace 3; exec x-terminal-emulator -e tmux new mutt" The 3 instances show up as `tmux ls` so it is running, and I can use the default C-b prefix instead (but my customized C-a does not work). The work-around is to exit all 3 instances before a subsequent start of tmux will read my tmux.conf file and behave as expected. (I moved ~/.tmux.conf to .config/tmux/.tmux.conf but neither location matters for the initial start-up). I ran strace -ff tmux and I did not see an access or open of the tmux.conf file. Please let me know what data I can provide to help. /Allan -- System Information: Debian Release: 11.0 APT prefers stable-security APT policy: (990, 'stable-security'), (990, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-8-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages tmux depends on: ii libc6 2.31-13 ii libevent-2.1-7 2.1.12-stable-1 ii libtinfo6 6.2+20201114-2 ii libutempter0 1.2.1-2 tmux recommends no packages. tmux suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- Allan Wind Yaxto - Runs Your Business <https://yaxto.com>
