Package: latexdiff Version: 1.3.1-1 Severity: important Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer,
On upgrading from buster to bullseye I note that latexdiff is now affected with a bug which causes it to emit latex source which does not compile, if the original source contained \cite{} (or indeed \citep{} and \citet{}). The bug has been reported elsewhere and is described clearly and in some detail at https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/574280/latexdiff-with-cite-commands-gives-output-with-apparently-mismatched-braces The stackexchange discussion provides a minimal working example and notes why the bug occurs. It also suggests work-arounds.
