Package: refind Version: 0.12.0-2~televic11+3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I am using refind with an netinst installer. Since bullseye this seems broken because sysfs/efivarfs is no longer mounted by default in the target and efibootmgr fails I've tested this patch on my side (simply trying to mount sys/efivarfs before efibootmgr and this seems to work. For completeness, I added such a mount in the postinst, but that one was not enough to fix the installation. https://salsa.debian.org/den_erpel-guest/refind/-/blob/debian/televic/bullseye/unstable/debian/patches/bullseye-efivarfs.patch https://salsa.debian.org/den_erpel-guest/refind/-/tree/debian/televic/bullseye/unstable If you want a clean MR, just let me know -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages refind depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.75 ii efibootmgr 17-1 ii gdisk 1.0.6-1.1 ii openssl 1.1.1k-1 Versions of packages refind recommends: ii python3 3.9.2-2 ii sbsigntool 0.9.2-2 refind suggests no packages. -- debconf information: * refind/install_to_esp: true -- g.
