Package: wget2 Version: 1.99.1-2.2 Severity: normal I can't abort wget2 even for trivial error cases. Example:
$ wget2 http://doesntexist/nope Failed to resolve doesntexist (Name or service not known) Failed to resolve doesntexist (Name or service not known) ^C^CAborted (core dumped) If wget2 can not find the server it keeps retrying (forever?), and when trying to abort by sending a CTRL-C it just stops, but it doesn't exit. If I then send another CTRL-C it dumps core. * What outcome did you expect instead? A network tool that can handle network issues grafeully. -- System Information: Debian Release: 11.0 APT prefers testing-security APT policy: (500, 'testing-security'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-7-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages wget2 depends on: ii libc6 2.31-13 ii libgpgme11 1.14.0-1+b2 ii libpcre2-8-0 10.36-2 ii libwget0 1.99.1-2.2 Versions of packages wget2 recommends: ii ca-certificates 20210119 wget2 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
