I forgot about something: the option "Archive as" (don't know if this is the correct translation, it's the field near "Full name"). When you do steps as I said, first Evolution shows something like this: Full name: Abc Cde Efg Archive as: Abc Efg But when you put "Cde" as part of the last name, it shows: Full name: Abc Cde Efg Archive as: Abc Cde Efg In other words, it changes a field. So, these are the really correct steps to reproduce: 1) Create a new contact, say "Abc Cde Efg" 2) Evolution will create as: - First name: Abc - Middle name: Cde - Last name: Efg 3) Open the window to edit that contact and change its "Archive as" field to anything else, say: - Archive as: Foo Bar 4) Close that window clicking on "Ok". 5) Open it again and change its name to: - First name: Abc - Middle name: - Last name: Cde Efg Note that when gluing Abc + Cde + Efg you get the same as Abc + Cde Efg, so the field that displays the full name on the edit window remains the same. 6) The "Ok" button is disabled and you can't save your modified contact, albeit you really did a change. > Thanks Cheers, -- Felipe. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
