Hi, Since not much to do for my packages during freeze, I was trying to migrate to dgit and hit this bug.
The same problem happens not just with new ~/.config/git/config but with older style ~/.gitconfig . The latter was my situation. Please make sure to address this bug once bullseye is released FYI: (My situation) --- $ git config -l |grep main init.defaultbranch=main branch.main.remote=origin branch.main.merge=refs/heads/main --- Commented out for dgit operation today.
