Package: conserver-server Version: 8.2.6-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
The manpage for conserver.cf says there is a console type 'ipmi' to talk directly to an ipmi console. It looks as if the version of conserver-server shipped with Debian is not linked with libipmiconsole so this does not work. I suggest either adding --with-freeipmi to the configure rule, and build-dep on libipmiconsole-dev and libfreeipmi-dev; or editing the man page to remove references to this (unsupported) console type. -- System Information: Debian Release: 11.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-7-amd64 (SMP w/32 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_FIRMWARE_WORKAROUND Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_AU:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages conserver-server depends on: ii adduser 3.118 ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.77 ii init-system-helpers 1.60 ii libc6 2.31-12 ii libcrypt1 1:4.4.18-4 ii libgssapi-krb5-2 1.18.3-5 ii libpam0g 1.4.0-7 ii libssl1.1 1.1.1k-1 ii libwrap0 7.6.q-31 ii lsb-base 11.1.0 conserver-server recommends no packages. conserver-server suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/conserver/conserver.cf changed [not included] -- debconf information excluded
