Package: smbfs Version: 3.0.22-1 Severity: normal
I have a samba file server share mounted with cifs. When I try to move a file with a filename with a special character in it, this fails with the error: mv: cannot move '<filename>': No such file or directory. Copying goes fine. Moving and copying files with normal names goes fine too. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-1-k7 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_GB.UTF-8) Versions of packages smbfs depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcomerr2 1.38+1.39-WIP-2006.04.09-1 common error description library ii libkrb53 1.4.3-6 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries ii libldap2 2.1.30-13 OpenLDAP libraries ii netbase 4.25 Basic TCP/IP networking system ii samba-common 3.0.22-1 Samba common files used by both th smbfs recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
