Package: debspawn Version: 0.5.0-1 Severity: wishlist I looked into why the .tar.zst images for debspawn are so big. Indeed, they contain a lot of stuff that does not belong there. Examples include:
* dmidecode * fdisk * ifupdown * init * isc-dhcp-client * kmod * nftables * rsyslog * systemd * tasksel * vim-tiny When one passes --variant buildd to debspawn create, the size is much smaller. When doing so, one has to pass --variant buildd to every debspawn build and debspawn login invocation. That's quite annoying. Given that debspawn's primary use is building, how about defaulting the variant to buildd? Helmut
