Hi! I have spent a lot of time today on this and I worked on implementing a dist-upgrade in salsa CI with the aptly tool (I am not very far, and I will submit MR but only next week I guess...).
I am still not sure about how to fix this dependency pb and I lost some time because of a strange behavior depending on which docker container I was using (buster/buster-slim). A dist-upgrade from debian:buster container always fails whereas a dist-upgrade from debian:buster-slim only fails when targeting sid.
