when running needrestart it always suggest that sddm needs to be restarted, even when sddm ist fresly (re-)started and no update has taken place. Running needrestart -v gives the following explanation: ... [main] #1244357 uses deleted /memfd:JITCode:QtQml [main] #1244357 is a child of #1244355 [main] #1244355 exe => /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/sddm/sddm-helper ... It looks like the JIT compiled Qt code erroneously triggers the detection. Adding "qr(^/memfd:JITCode:QtQml)," to the blacklist_mappings silences this warning. Would you consider to add this exception to the needrestart package?
