Package: xfonts-intl-chinese Version: 1.2.1-5 Severity: normal This package contains a fonts.alias file in /etc/X11/fonts/misc. To switch the font layout to the one in X11R7, a fonts.alias file should also be placed at /etc/X11/fonts/X11R7/misc such that the update-fonts-alias can correctly assemble the fonts.alias with the option -7 turned on.
Without the correct fonts.alias file in my system, some program , e.g. xcin, can not be activated to input chinese fonts. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.7-050225 Locale: LANG=zh_TW.Big5, LC_CTYPE=zh_TW.Big5 (charmap=BIG5) (ignored: LC_ALL set to zh_TW.Big5) Versions of packages xfonts-intl-chinese depends on: ii xfonts-utils 1:1.0.0-3 X Window System font utility progr xfonts-intl-chinese recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
