I tried more setups. With sway WM + Wayland, the issue is the same. And the workaround is the same too. OTOH, when I tried with good old icewm, the issue is not seen. Falkon, there, behaves proper just as I'd want. So I don't know where to look further. It seems to be an erratic behavior seen only on some setups. The unfortunate part is that my primary machine, where I run KDE + X11 + Falkon, the problem is as is.
