The files in debian/patches are licensed GPL-3, so the patched files
will
change the license from LGPL-2.1+ to GPL-3, which makes the whole
library GPL-3.
Please consider relicensing the patch files to LGPL-2.1+.
Most probably you have a reverse dependency, which is incompatible with
GPL-3 (e.g. GPL-2 licensed packages).
