Believe me I've seen *lots* of suggestions how bug reporting could be enhanced for beginners. I think we can save our times to discuss this here at this hidden place. I think if you simply keep the tool reportbug in mind and fire this up from a Debian machine it should sufficiently self-explaining for people who are skilled enough to develop complex software tools. Its a simple text menu and there is no need to setup some SMTP host so you can use it from any machine (that's connected to the internet).
